Also, if God is prompting you to Going Deeper into the life of the Church, please let me know. This could be anything from volunteering for the AV desk, music, welcome, coffee, mission work, prayer, pastoral visiting, pastoral listening, community activity, children’s and youth work, administration, alpha, beta, small groups, The Hothouse, or even something new and not being done yet. This is not an exhaustive list there could be so much more, but we want to be a church where everyone has a chance to use their gifts and go deeper. We can’t guarantee you’ll get to do what you volunteer for but we can promise you a good conversation about how we think God is calling you and wanting to use you.

Finally, we are hoping to make the 11:15am service the initial focus of Going Deeper. To help make the service feel more vibrant we could do with people transferring from 9:30am to the 11:15am. This would be particularly suitable for families with younger children, single people or couples. We can guarantee great children’s work from 0 to 11. We also guarantee that we will start the service on time. If 50 people did this it would make a big difference. It would mean there would be space to grow the 9:30am service again and it would give the 11:15am service momentum to carry on growing. Please pray about it and let me know if you’d be kind enough to be one of the people who will transfer. We would envisage the first Sunday in September being Transfer Sunday.
