Crèche is
part of the
Sunday
morning
children's
groups and
is held at
the Church
Rooms.
We care for
the youngest
members of
our
congregation
from young
babies to 3
year olds
(until they
are ready
for Bubbles,
the
pre-school
age group).
We have a
wide variety
of toys and
books, and a
repertoire
of nursery
rhymes
(!) and will
keep your
child
entertained
while you
enjoy the
9.30am
morning
service. A
drink and
biscuit is
offered
during the
session.
We're open
from 9.15am,
if you would
like to
bring and
settle your
child before
the service
starts, or
the children
come to us
when the
older
children leave
church for
their
groups,
usually
around
9.50am.
Children
are then
collected by
their
parents from
the church
rooms at the
end of the
first
service at
about
10.50am.
Crèche is
run by a
team on a
rota basis.
Each week
one of
the supervisors,
Kate Watson,
Anne
Robertson,
Emma Friar,
and Martin
and Pam
Hodges are
assisted
by two
or three
parents,
some of our
teenagers,
and other
members of
the
congregation.
