Welcome to

On Thursday 13th January 2005, Bishop Mike from Wolverhampton, and Archdeacon Bob Jackson (click here),
paid the Parish a visit to encourage us in mission and evangelism.

They met with the clergy team and then went to Tynings Lane Church and there met up with more of the staff team.

They then came down to the Parish Church to meet up with the wardens, and this was followed by a time of worship & prayer together.

Afterwards a lunch was prepared by Jean Elliott & Lynne Trew at The Hothouse and it was good to be there and share time together.
After lunch the Bishop and Archdeacon then moved on to St.Thomas church, and spent time there with Richard Taylor

It was a very constructive day and we much appreciated their visit.
