On Saturday
28th May 2006 at 1.30pm Mr Matthew Adam William Wallace married
Miss Gemma Kate Strachan at Aldridge Parish Church.
Matt Is
employed as Youth Coordinator at the Parish Church and Gemma is a
Marketing Coordinator at the Sea Life Centre in Birmingham.
The church was packed with over 350 family and friends, to see this very special
couple get married, and it was just such a joy to be there to see their
commitment to God and to each other. Richard Cornfield our rector,
officiated at the service and Mike Jones gave the talk.
Matt had Mr Ed Davis as his best man and
Gemma had her sister Caroline and an old school friend, Davina Cutler, as her bridesmaids.
Many teenagers from
Aldridge Youth Fellowship and
Random
helped swell the numbers and it was lovely to see the support and good
wishes from so many different age ranges.
The reception was held at St.Thomas Church and it was beautifully set
out by close friends of the couple as a gift to celebrate their wedding
day. The reception banquet was a curry! and it was just so special to be
there and share in this great occasion.
The couple are honeymooning in Italy and we wish them God's richest
blessings in their new life together.
